Distribution in Borneo.

Sarawak: Kuching Division. Labuan, Sabah: Sandakan Division. Kalimantan: West and East Kalimantan provinces. Distribution elsewhere. Philippines and Indonesia: Java and Sumatra (Mousson 1857; Smith 1895).

Remarks.

Further study is needed to clarify the taxonomic status of this species together with Hemiplecta humpreysiana (I. Lea, 1840).
