(Figs 9, 10, 27, 28)

Type material. Holotype (Figs 9, 27): male, “ China / Yunnan - prov.(NW) | Nujiang Lisu and Dulong auton. pref. | Fugong County; Lishadi (= Walo) | 42 km N of Fugong, 1390 m | 12. – 16. V. 1999; 27,15°N / 98,55°E | leg./ ex coll. Dr. R. Brechlin” / “Slide | ZSM Arct. | 251/2017 ♂ | A. Volynkin ” / “Museum Witt | München” (MWM/ ZSM).

Paratype: CHINA: 1 male, the same data as in the holotype, gen. prep. No.: ZSM Arct. 263/2017 (MWM/ ZSM).

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 11.0 mm in males. Miltochrista nujiangia sp. n. (Figs 9, 10) is similar to M. dankana Volynkin, N. Singh, Černý, Kirti & Datta, 2022 (Fig. 11) but differs in the less medially curved medial transverse line of the forewing. In the male genital capsule, the new species (Figs 27, 28) is distinguished from M. dankana (Figs 29, 30) by the almost straight valva (it is medially upcurved in the congener) with a broader and rounded distal lobe (it is semi-elliptical in M. dankana), and the markedly shorter and thinner distal saccular process. Additionally, the sacculus of M. nujiangia sp. n. bears a short, narrowly triangular membranous protrusion at the base of the distal saccular process, which is absent in the congener. The phalli of the two species display no remarkable differences. The vesica configuration of M. nujiangia sp. n. is similar to M. dankana but in the new species, it is somewhat longer and has somewhat longer diverticula than in the congener.

The female is unknown.

Distribution. The species is known only from north-western Yunnan Province, China.

Etymology. The specific epithet originates from the Nujiang (Salween) River, in upper course of which the type locality is located. The name is a noun in the nominative singular in apposition.
