Site of infection. Pores of the cephalic sensory system and nostrils of hosts. Type locality. Brazil, Santa Catarina State, Florianópolis (27°10´S- 48°35´W) . 2010-08. Paratypes. 5 ♀, MLP-Cr 26759, 2011-08, same host as type, Argentina. Coastal waters of Mar del Plata (38°08´S- 57°32´W). Collector: Timi, J.
