Distribution. Worldwide.

Remarks. Stirellus is heterogeneous and the largest genus of Stenometopiini, distributed throughout the world. Extensive variation in external morphological features including body proportions and coloration explain why many varied forms were considered earlier to represent separate genera. Previously Khatri & Webb (2010) reported 3 known Stirellus species from Pakistan while Naveed et al. (2020) added 2 additional new species from Pakistan. Later, Shah et al. (2020) added 2 more species to the checklist. The present study will add 5 more to make a total of 12 species known from Pakistan.
