Included species: Loncovilius carlsbergi sp. nov. and L. lividipennis (Fairmaire and Germain, 1862) .
Diagnosis: Head about as wide as long, without coarse non-setiferous punctures; nuchal ridge complete dorsally, connected with infraorbital ridge; gula without isodiametric microsculpture in the middle; posterior frontal puncture located posterior to temporal puncture; postmandibular ridge located close to eye margin; PMP (usually reduced); females with antennomere 11 distinctly longer than antennomere 10 (a11:a10 ratio>1.5). Pronotum outline evenly curved. Tergites III and IV with several rows of punctures of moderate size and density, without a sizeable impunctate area near to apical margin (Fig. 9E); tergite VIII with medial apical emargination in both sexes; ovipositor, its second gonocoxite with one macroseta medially.
