Types. Male holotype and female paratype from between Cruzeiro do Iguaçu and Dois Vizinhos (25°37’10.90”S; 53°7’44.37”W), Paraná, Brazil, 8–15.X.1998, Equipe IBSP leg., deposited in IBSP 21060 .
Etymology. The specific epithet indicates the one born in the city of Dois Vizinhos.
Diagnosis. Males of Otoniela duovizinhense sp. nov. are similar to those of O. adisi, O. lupercioi sp. nov. and O. chica sp. nov. by the palp with short embolus (Figs 1F; 3H, I; 4C; 5G, H). They differ by having an acuminate, tapered ventral tegular projection and transversal sperm duct elongated in ventral view (Figs 7C, D). The bifid median apophysis and with denticles and chelicerae with a protuberance in the fang base in O. adisi (Figs 2A, B; 3H, I); large base of the ventral tegular projection and truncated embolar basal apophysis in O. lupercioi sp. nov. (Figs 4C, E; 5G, H) and narrow base of ventral tegular projection and oblique sperm duct in O. chica sp. nov. (Figs 6C, E). Females resembles those of O. aparecida sp. nov. by the narrow atrium (Fig. 8C). They differ by the epigynal plate inverted U-shaped lateral borders and together spermathecae (Figs 7G, H). The invagination conspicuous accentuated toward the atrium inverted V-shaped and separated spermathecae in O. aparecida sp. nov. (Figs 8C, D).
