Generitype of Elaeocarpus Linnaeus.

Current name: Elaeocarpus serratus L. ( Elaeocarpaceae).

Note: Tirel & Raynal’s description of the lectotype as comprising two specimens side by side on a single page makes it clear that they intend the material in Herb. Hermann vol. 1: 51. They also illustrated (pl. 1) the cited Burman and Rumphius (3: t. 101) plates.
