Lectotype (Jonsell & Jarvis in Nordic J. Bot. 14: 148. 1994): Herb. Linn. No. 1241.1 (LINN) .

Current name: Equisetum sylvaticum L. ( Equisetaceae).

Note: Hauke (in Nova Hedwigia 30: 438. 1978) indicated both 1241.1 and 1241.2 (LINN) as the type. However, these two collections are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply.
