The carinifrons species-group
According to Gauld (2000), this group is recognizable by “the tergite VIII developed into a cornus
(Figs 44 & 59). A very long ovipositor, 7.1–12.3 × as long as the hind tibia. Finally, hind wing vein Cu 1 arising from M more or less at, or distal to cu-a by <1.0 × length of cu-a ” (Figs 36, 43, 47, 53 & 54).
