Amphinemura pediformis: Yang et al. 2015: 238 (male description).

Adult habitus. General body color yellowish-brown. Head light brown; antennae light yellow; palpi light yellow; maxillary palpi light yellow; mouthparts pale yellow; thorax brown; compound eyes black. Pronotum yellow-brown to brown, without wrinkles or markings, rectangular with rounded corners, narrower than the head. Legs yellow to yellowish brown. Wings light brown, membranous, subhyaline, and glossy; veins brown.

Female. Adult length 4.7–5.1 mm, forewing length 6.1–6.3 mm, hind wing length 5.3–5.4 mm (n = 6). Sternum 7 produced into a pale, broad, semicircular pregenital plate, covering anterior part of sternum 8, clearly elevated in lateral view (Fig. 7a). Sternum 8 (Figs. 7a–b) forms a strongly sclerotized, H-shaped subgenital plate with a distinct, rounded posterior notch, anterior apex blunt; lateral parts brown and well sclerotized, in contrast to the median, rectangular part pale. Sternum 9 trapezoidal and pale. Paraprocts and cerci pale. The inner arm is sclerotized into a tubular form, slightly elevated in lateral view. Outer arms are mushroom-shaped and encase the inner arm, with their apices forming the internal genitalia. Below the internal genitalia are four petal-liked sclerites (Fig. 7b–f). The genital opening is narrow (Fig. 7b).

Material examined. 1 female, CHINA: Xizang, Linzhi City, Motuo County, Beibeng Township, N28.45°, E94.70°, 751m, 2014.VII.27, leg. Yan Li ; 2 males, 1 female, CHINA: Xizang, Linzhi City, Motuo County, Beibeng Township, N28.40°, E94.66°, 800m, 2019.V.29, leg. Qicheng Yang ; 1 male, 1 female, CHINA: Yunnan Province, Mengdang County, Dulongjiang, N27.72°, E98.34°, 1342m, 2023.VII.31, Light, leg. Qicheng Yang.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, Xizang).

Remarks. This species was originally described based on male specimens from Zayü and Motuo Counties, Xizang. In our study, we recorded this species from Yunnan Province based on male and female specimens, which represent the first record of this species in this province.
