Planiculus shiva (Maiti & Saha, 1986) (new to Thailand)

Xyleborus shiva Maiti & Saha, 1986: 140 .

Diagnosis. 1.90–2.10 mm long (mean 1.97, n = 5); 2.86–2.98× as long as wide. Pronotum 1.10–1.11× as long as wide, from dorsal view long and round frontally, type 9, from lateral view elongated with low summit and elongate disc (type 8). Elytra 1.60–1.88× as long as wide, 1.44–1.69× as long as pronotum. Declivity below the middle: interstria 1–3 laterally curved, interstria 1 inflated armed with moderate sized, acute tubercle, interstria 2 flat, unarmed or with 1–3 granules, separated by at least 2× diameter of a granule; apex shallowly emarginate.
