Material examined. One male and four females (SNUE), Yongdae Recreational Forest, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea (38°14'33.0"N, 128°20'11.3"E; Fig. 1), dry pinned. Collected during July 24 to August 23, 2023, by Woo Jun Bang, Sangjin Han, and Jonghwan Choi using Malaise trap . One male (SNUE), Odaesan Mountain, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea (37°47'24.0"N, 128°33'52.7"E; Fig. 1). Collected during July 12 to August 4, 2022, by Woo Jun Bang, Sangjin Han, and Jonghwan Choi using Malaise trap .
Comments. This species can easily be recognized based on its characteristic wing patterns (Fig. 8a), long antennae in male being almost three times the body length (Fig. 7a) and stripe-patterned mesonotum (Fig. 9b). Matsumura (1915) mentions that this species has a yellow abdomen, but abdominal coloration is rather various between individuals and sexes (Figs. 7a–b). Male terminalia of this species have been figured for the first time in the current study (Figs. 8b–d). So far, this species was only known from Japan (Matsumura 1915, Okada 1937, 1938a, 1939a, 1939b).
