Diagnosis. The distinctive characters of the new species are discussed under the diagnosis of the new monotypic genus Ivindonola .

Description. The external and genital morphology of Ivindonola ipassa sp. n. are described under the description of the new monotypic genus Ivindonola .

Genetic information. Ivindonola ipassa has been assigned the BIN URI: BOLD:AEK9606. As the species is known only from its holotype, intraspecific genetic divergence could not be calculated. The pairwise distances between I. ipassa and all other taxa discussed in this paper exceed 9%.

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality of the new species, the Ipassa-Makokou Biosphere Reserve in central Gabon.
