Type locality. Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Remarks. The species was recently transferred to Guyalna (Sanborn 2016) based on the three-segmented tarsi and the curved timbal cover apex characteristic of the genus (Fig. 20). Body length 14–16 mm, fore wing length 19–20.6 mm (measurements from image of syntype and specimens in AFSC).
Distribution. The species has been reported previously from Brazil (Jacobi 1904).
