Distribution.

Northern coast of Peru’s transition zone.

Sampling/reporting sites.

In Peru, it was reported in Punta Veleros (Los Organos, Piura, 04°10'28.7"S) (Zavala, 2022), Quebrada Verde (Piura, 04°13'34.8"S), Foca Island (Piura, 05°12'13.8"S) (Hoover et al. 2017), and Lobos de Afuera Islands (Lambayeque, 06°56′S) (Bravo et al. 2020).

Remarks.

This species is endemic to the northern coast of Peru. It was initially reported as Felimare ghiselini (Bertsch 1978) by Thompson (2006) but later corrected by Hoover et al. (2017) and described as a new species.
