In Peru, it was reported in Lima ( d’Orbigny 1835-1846; Álamo and Valdivieso 1997; Dall 1909). It was also reported in Chile ( Mehuín, Valdivia, Juan Fernández Islands and Talcahuano) (Fischer and Cervera 2005b; Bergh 1898).
Remarks.
Originally named Eolidia pinnata Eschscholtz 1831 (type specimen from Alaska), until its current designation as F. pinnata; it is a species with a wide latitudinal range (Trickey 2013).
