Types. CIENFUEGOS Province: Cumanayagua Municipality: Pico San Juan; 21°59'20.6"N - 80°08'51.0"W; 1,140 m a.s.l.; 7–14/August/2015; S. Yong, E. Fonseca; one adult male holotype (SY), one adult male and four adult female paratypes (SY) .
Diagnosis. See genus diagnosis above.
Etymology. The selected epithet is a Latin adjective that literally means "revealed, discovered, disclosed". It alludes to the unexpected discovery of this second member of Teruelphasmini in the rainforests of the highest mountain of central Cuba.
