Localities: La Plata Zoological Garden (captivity), La Plata, Buenos Aires Province (Argentina). References: Boero and Led (1968), Ostrowski de Núñez (1992). Comments: Ostrowski de Núñez (1992) erroneously reported that Boero and Led (1968) found this species in coscoroba swan (Coscoroba coscoroba (Molina, 1782)).
