Genetic data. BIN BOLD: AAH8506 (n=5 from Yemen, Madagascar; maximum variation 0.8%). Nearest species: Z. euryscaphes (4.5%).

Distribution. Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania, Yemen (Fletcher 1974; Hausmann 2006; Aarvik & Bjørnstad 2007).
