Remarks. The lectotype of Sciaphilus pertusicollis is 3.41 mm long. The lectotype of Sciaphilus nasutus is 4.00 mm long. The lectotype of Sciaphilus ruficornis is 3.38 mm long. Chiloneus pertusicollis is a very characteristic species resembling species of the genus Omias by shape and size of body, with males distinctly more slender than females, blackish integument moderately densely covered by oval appressed scales without raised setae, rostrum in basal third distinctly tapered and in apical two thirds only weakly enlarged anteriad and small, but conspicuously vaulted and prominent eyes.
