(Figure 1A)

Material examined: New record: Albania: 1ex. Orikumi vill. env. (40°12.834’ N, 19°34.74’ E, 800 m a.s.l.), 08.05.2013, A. Šíma leg. et coll .

Notes: X. bispinus primarily develops on old man‘s beard ( Clematis vitalba L.) (Fiala 2021). Its occurrence in Albania was first reported by Kleine (1913b), but this record lacked detail and was not subsequently confirmed. Since then, X. bispinus has been documented in all countries of the former Yugoslavia as well as in Greece (Karaman 1971; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2023).
