Type material examined. 2 exx. Syntype (NHM): card-mounted, “4064” [in Broun’s hand], “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Buller. \ 17.1.1915 ” [in Broun’s hand], “ Veronatus \ sternalis .” [in Broun’s hand]. Syntype (NHM): ventrally card-mounted, same label data as above.
Remarks. Broun (1921) studied two specimens collected 17.01.1915 by T. Hall at Buller River bank near Glenhope.
