Odontomutilla familiaris trimaculata Hammer, 1962: 2, 4, ♀, type locality: Margherita [India: Assam], holotype in NZC; Lelej 2005: 115, ♀ .
Diagnosis. FEMALE. Head black. T1 without median pale spot. T 2 in basal half with large medial spot of pale setae and two smaller posterolateral spots of the same setae. T3 with widely interrupted band of yellowish setae. MALE. Unknown.
Material examined. Holotype of Odontomutilla familiaris trimaculata, ♀, India, with the labels: Margherita, 9260, 8 // Odontomutilla trimaculata Type ♀ det. Hammer // 1954, H3 // 117 // Type // Mutilla ? kirbyii Magr. // Odontomutilla sikkimensis André, B. Petersen det. 1980; ZSI 1954/H3 [NZC].
Distribution. India: Assam (Fig. 36).
Remark. The female of O. familiaris trimaculata differs from that of nominative subspecies by having small posterolateral spots of pale setae on T2 (lacking in Odontomutilla familiaris familiaris) and widely interrupted band of pale setae on T3 (uninterrupted band in O. f. familiaris).
