Type material.

Syntypes: 1♂, 2♀, "W China, Omei-shan" [China, Prov. Sichuan], deposited in NHM (Beccaloni et al. 2003), not examined.

Other material examined.

2 ♂, specimens, identified by Ch. Boursin, "Likiang, ca 4000 m, Nord Yuennan, 21 July 1935, H. Hӧne” /. Deposited in the coll. ZFMK.

Distribution and biology.

The species is known from its type locality, Omeishan, Sichuan Prov., and from Likiang, Yunnan Prov., southwest China; the male genitalia were illustrated by Boursin (1967). The specimens from Likiang were collected 21 July 1935 at an altitude 4000 m.
