Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “Xicen / 94.6.21”; (2) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / euryisurstyla / Identifier: Anxiao Deng ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Botanophila / euryisurstyla / (Deng, Liu et Li) ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: left mid leg, right wing.

Additional notes: Holotype male collected by Ling Li at sonw mountain of Xiling, Dayi County, Sichuan Province; labels of Holotype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the label (94.6.21) do not match with the date in the original publication (1994.6.4) .
