ZMB 88608 and ZMB 88610 , skulls, males; both specimens ex RMNH. Comment: ZMB 88608 and ZMB 88610 had very old labels (presumably originals), which appear to have been overlooked by Matschie (1899 , p. 14). Dobson (1878: 45) indicated specimens named by Peters in the RMNH. Otherwise Andersen (1912: 243) identified ZMB 4962 as “ type ” (male adult, mounted, skull in situ, from Bernstein ex RMNH) and ZMB 4703 (leg. Beccari) as “the only other specimen”.
