Cosel and Olu (2009)
documented shell shape and hinge variability for
Wareniconcha guineensis
and the specimens from Liog-Liog Point fall well within this variability. In particular, specimen
NMNS
PM
28199 has a very similar outline as the
Wareniconcha guineensis
syntype
stored at the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin (Moll.101.600).
