Diagnosis. Length 3.0– 3.5 mm ; overall coloration uniform, reddish brown; with fine silvery pubescence ( Figs. 13 – 16 ); several lateral rows of small dark spots visible on elytra; clypeal notch in male small ( Fig.14 ); female with clypeus not emarginate ( Fig. 16 ). CANADA : Alberta , Manitoba , New Brunswick , Newfoundland , Nova Scotia , Ontario , Québec , and Saskatchewan. USA : Colorado , Minnesota , New York , North Carolina , and Wisconsin . Additional Remarks. While this species has not yet been collected in Montana , it has been collected in Saskatchewan near the Montana border ( Pelletier and Hébert 2019 ). Given the proximity and the apparently large ranges of species in this genus, it is very possible that A. convexulus is present in Montana and that the absence of records is attributable to insufficient sampling.
