It was previously known only from the type locality, the Gelibolu peninsula, Çanakkale , northwestern Turkey ( ASSING 2007b ). Not only do the specimens listed in Tab. 1 represent the first records from Greece and since the original description, these records also confirm a land connection between Samothraki and Northwest Turkey .
