Type locality: Somalia [as Somaliland] .

Type material: Holotype male and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670538 View Materials ] from the

Meinertzhagen collection [18686].

Type material: Holotype male [slide 56542] deposited in the USNM, from the Carriker collection [slide No. 343– 4]. The location of the allotype female and two paratypes is unknown.
