Platypleura brancsiki Distant 1893: 52 . (Nossi-Bé Island, Madagascar)
Remarks.—The second of four species with the hind wings piceous or piceous-brown. It can be distinguished from Y. antiopa by the lighter areas in the distal hind wing apical cells, the lack of white apical areas in Y. heathi , and the lack of piceous spots on the distal apical cell veins that are found in Y. hova .
Distribution.—The species is only known from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963a; Duffels & van der Laan 1985). Distant (1893) reported the species from Nossi-Bé Island.
