Etymology. The specific name is an arbitrary combination of letters.
Diagnosis. With its pits on the carapace surface X. pachara sp. nov. resembles X. xelo and X. rogerfedereri sp. nov., but can be separated from both by the male palpal conformation with heavily sclerotized, rather long apophyses, appearing scissor-like ( Fig. 50 View FIGURE 50 ). The female epigastric area shows a bubble-like structure, situated posteriorly of the furrow, with a scape, which is folded underneath itself ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 ).
Description. Male. Total length 2.00 mm. Carapace: Orange-brown, ovoid in dorsal view, strongly elevated in lateral view, anteriorly narrowed to 0.49 times its maximum width or less, with angular posterolateral corners, posterolateral edge with pair of pits, anterolateral corners without extensions or projections, posterolateral surface with 1 pair of spikes ( Fig. 49A, B, C, D View FIGURE 49 ), surface of pars cephalica and sides finely reticulate, fovea absent. Posterior margin with four lobate, sclerotized extensions, dorsal of the pedicel ( Fig. 49G View FIGURE 49 ). Lateral margin with sharply pointed denticles ( Fig. 49A, D, E View FIGURE 49 ). Clypeus: straight in frontal view, vertical in lateral view, with median projection, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more ( Fig. 49E View FIGURE 49 ). Eyes: ALE largest, ALE and PLE circular, PME oval. Posterior eye row straight from above, procurved from front. ALE separated by their radius to diameter, ALE and PLE touching, PLE and PME touching, PME touching ( Fig. 49A, D, E View FIGURE 49 ). Sternum: Longer than wide, sickle-shaped structures not touching, but elongated fan-like anteriorly. Radial furrows opposite coxae III appearing as sclerotized impressions, elongated fan-like anteriorly. Surface smooth ( Fig. 49B, F View FIGURE 49 ). Mouthparts: Chelicerae widely divergent, anterior face unmodified ( Fig. 49E View FIGURE 49 ). Labium rectangular, indented at middle, with 3-5 setae on anterior margin. Abdomen: Book-lung covers ovoid. Scuto-pedicel region with straight, interrupted scutal ridge ( Fig. 49H View FIGURE 49 ). Dorsal scutum orange-brown, middle surface and sides smooth, anterior half without projecting denticles. Epigastric scutum not protruding. Postepigastric scutum with short posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Posterior spiracles connected by groove. Legs: Harpoon-like hairs covering the distal part of metatarsi and tarsi III and IV. Tibia with three, metatarsi with one trichobothria each. Genitalia: Sperm pore small, situated in front of anterior spiracles ( Fig. 49B View FIGURE 49 ). Trochanter normal size, unmodified. Femur one to two times as long as trochanter, attaching to patella basally; patella about as long as femur, tibia one and a half times longer than patella, with three trichobothria, cymbium dark red-brown, ovoid in dorsal view, fused with bulb, but with clearly defined seam between; bulb pale orange, 2 times as long as cymbium, with two long and broad, sclerotized apophyses, appearing scissor-like, a third, shorter one visible in between. Small, slightly bended membranous outgrowth dorsally ( Fig. 50 View FIGURE 50 ).
Female. Total length 2.08 mm. Female palp spineless, femora with two strong, spine-like hairs ventrally, tibiae with three trichobothria. Abdomen: Epigastric scutum strongly protruding ( Fig. 51C View FIGURE 51 ). Genitalia: Epigastric furrow very narrow. Anterior margin of postepigastric scutum very thick and strongly sclerotized. From the middle of the posterior margin of the epigastric scutum starts a scape, leading posteriorly, folded underneath itself, covered by a translucent, bubble-like structure ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 ).
