Material examined. 1 male, CHINA, Shanghai, 30-viii-2016, coll. HE Zhu-Qing ; 1 male, CHINA, Shandong, Dongying , 1-viii-2012, coll. HE Zhu-Qing.
Distribution. China (Hainan, Shandong, Zhejiang).
Note. Males of this species are similar to V. micado , but females have shorter tegmina ( Fig. 1g View FIGURE 1 ). It is univoltine in Shanghai, overwintering as eggs. Adults are usually stationary or slow moving.
