Like 10 but fruits narrowly oblong-ovoid, obtusely 4-angled; fertile loculus without a thickened outer wall; sterile loculi usually smaller than the fertile, separated by an oblong, scarious groove; calyx re duced to an indistinct tooth above the fertile loculus. 2« = 16.
