1. Uniformus robustispinus View in CoL Song & Huang, sp. nov. ( Figs 1–15 View FIGURES 1–15 )
Measurement. Male, 3.1–3.2mm (including wings).
Description. Color pattern as in Figs 1–6 View FIGURES 1–15 .
Hind wing vein MP+CuA branched ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Abdominal apodemes reaching 4th abdominal sternite ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Pygofer side prolonged and narrowed subapically with ventral margin of end triangular ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1–15 ). In ventral view, subgenital plate with surface spinose, row of rigid microsetae laterally and row of macrosetae lateroventrally ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Paramere hooked apically and not extended beyond subgenital plate ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Connective with lateral arms short. ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 1–15 ). Aedeagal shaft with a lamellate protrusion dorsally on upper half; preatrium with two pairs of processes, subapical processes shorter and smooth, apical processes longer and covered with pore-like indentations, all processes directed laterally ( Figs 13–14 View FIGURES 1–15 ).
Observed Materials. Holotype: ♁, CHINA, Yunnan Province, Mt. Gongshan , 26-VII-2018, coll. Dongming Wang. Paratype: 1♁, same data as holotype.
Notes. The new species is similar to U. rostellatus in color pattern, but can be distinguished from U. rostellatus by the subgenital plate not extended beyond the pygofer, the shape of which also can be used to distinguish it from U. inclusus , but the new species has different color pattern from U. inclusus .
Etymology. The specific epithet is the Latin compound word “robustispinus”, which refers to the robust apical processes of the aedeagal preatrium.
