Redescription. Male. length 0.68–0.75 mm (n =6). Body dark yellowish-brown with pale yellow parts as follows: vertex, occiput, fore and middle coxae, femora, tibia, tarsi, hind tibia and tarsi, venation; eyes and occeli red; wings hyaline.

Head oblate. Eye large, 0.5 length of head, mandible tridentate, maxillary palp short, unsegmented, with one long and one short bristle. Antenna ( Fig. 1 View Figs 1–4 ) with scape 3.25 times as long as wide (3.16–3.54); pedicel pyriform, 1.5 times as long as wide (1.4–1.6), F2/F1 = 1.5(1.2–1.8), C 2.29 times as long as wide (2.25–2.35), last segment of C small and round; C/F = 2.26 (2.03–2.40); 1PLS on each of F1 –C2, 2PLS on C3.

Mesoscutum with longitudinal stripes. Fore wing ( Fig. 5 View Figs 5–11 ) broad, 1.86 times as long as wide (1.80–2.00), densely setose with widely diverging setal tracks r-m to M and dispersed setae between CU1 and CU2, most in an irregular arrangement; vein attaining 0.45 times of FWL(58: 41). FWL/HTL =3.07(2.89–3.16); FWL/FWW = 1.86(1.73–2.00); FWFS/FWW =0.07 (0.06–0.09); Max r-m to M/Min r-m to M =5.5 (4.9–6.8); MV/PM = 1.10 (0.92–1.25); SV/MV = 0.63(0.65–0.74); MV length/MV width = 4.38(4.43–5.50); Hind wing with HWL/HWW =14.31(13.3–15.67); HWFS/HWW =1.3 (1.2–1.4).

Genitalia ( Fig. 8 View Figs 5–11 ) divided into two distinct parts: genital capsule and aedeagus, GL/GW = 2.96(2.60–3.27); GL/HTL =0.99(0.94–1.02). Width of ADA indistinctly narrower than capsule width, ADA/GL = 0.65(0.60–0.78); dorsal ridge distinct and complete; parameres with terminal spine, widest at base; ventral process laterally emarginate, its width at base broader than half width of capsule.

Female. Length 0.66–0.85 mm (n =12). Coloration similar to that of male. Antenna ( Fig. 2 View Figs 1–4 ) stout, with dense bristle except anelli, scape 3.4 times as long as wide (3.2–3.5); pedicel pyriform, 1.28 times as long as wide (1.23–1.31), F2/F1 =2.07(1.57–2.50), club 1.17 times as long as wide (1.05–1.27), C/F =2.37 (2.20–2.50), 1 PLS on each of F1 and F2, 1 PLS on C1, 2 PLS on each of C2-C3.
