Three syntypes are deposited in NMPC (ex coll. V. Balthasar): SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘Nikolsk Ussurijsk / Ussurigeb. Mandl [p] // Typus [p, red label, black margin] // Trox mitis View in CoL m. / Typus! [hw] / Det. Dr. Balthasar [p] // Trox mitis Balth. View in CoL / valid species / Lectotypus / Det. Pittino
1985 [hw, red label]’. SYNTYPES (2 unsexed specimens): ‘Nikolsk Ussurijsk / Ussurigeb. Mandl [p] // Typus [p, red label, black margin]’.
Current status. Valid species.
Remark. Designation of the lectotype proposed by Pittino is, as of now, still formally unpublished. KRÁL & MOCEK (1998) recorded additional two types deposited in the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. Nevertheless, the locality data of these specimens do not fully agree with the original description. Most probably they represent specimens compared with type(s) rather than true syntypes.
