Range: — Venezuela and Guianas; northeastern Brazil; southeastern Peru, northern Bolivia (LP, PA) and adjacent Brazil. Ecology: —Uncommon; terrestrial in humid forests; to 1100 m. Notes: —A specimen of the type collection (Jimenez 1947) at UC, not cited by Prado & Moran (2008), is in our opinion T. funestum , suggesting that the type collection is mixed. Similarly, a number of collections assigned by Prado & Moran (2008) are, based on our opinion with material from UC, better placed under T. funestum .
