Male. Head pale ochraceous, frontoclypeus with pink lateral stripe in dorsal half along frontal suture. Eyes and ocelli black. Dorsum of thorax and forewing deep piceous throughout with narrow hyaline band along costal margin. Metasternites black with pale margins. Hind femur and tarsi with apices black, hind tibiae with setae pale yellow, claws dark brown ( Figs. 3 D View FIGURES 3 , 6 D View FIGURES 6 , 9 B View FIGURES 9 ).

Male genitalia. Pygofer triangular in lateral view, with digitate caudoventral process ( Fig. 45 G View FIGURES 45 ). Subgenital plate long, basal half slightly narrowed and broadened in the apical half ( Fig. 45 D View FIGURES 45 ). Style symmetrical, apophysis short, broad at base, width uniform in hasal half, and narrowed at apex, with rounded apex ( Fig. 45 E View FIGURES 45 ). Connective longer than wide at base, with distinct median ledge extending entire length ( Fig. 45 F View FIGURES 45 ). Aedeagus narrowed towards apex, with three subapical processes, two processes on one side glabrous, distal process about ½ as long as proximal, basal process trifid with inner branch longest, gonopore distad of trifid process ( Figs. 45 View FIGURES 45 A–C).

Measurements. Male 6.5 mm long, 1.8 mm wide across eyes and 2.0 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Kerala: Nelliampathy , 11.v.2011, Piper nigrum, N. M. Meshram Coll. ( NPC).

Etymology. The species name is descriptive for the distinctive yellowish brown head.

Remarks. T. ochrocephala sp. nov. resembles T. tripectinata but can be differentiated by the different arrangement and configuration of the aedeagal processes.
