Distribution & Ecology. Jamaica, Mexico (Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Veracruz), Guatemala, (Alta Verapaz, Izabal, Petén), Belize, Colombia (Huila) and Ecuador. In evergreen and semi-evergreen rain forest over limestone, usually at low elevation but reaching 1400 m elevation. in Mexico.
