Type. Male holotype from Ilha da Marchantaria , Rio Solimões , Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil [03°15’S, 59°58’W], 16.XII.1987, A. A. Lise ( MCN 18269) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name is a noun and a patronym in honor of the arachnologist and collector of the types, Arno A. Lise.
Diagnosis. The male of T. lisei sp. nov. ( Figs 148, 149) resemble those of T. oriximina sp. nov. in the rounded shape of the median apophysis ( Fig. 152), but can be distinguished by the prolaterally curved tip of the median apophysis ( Fig. 149) and by the thickened ental branch of the RTA ( Fig. 151).
Description. Male (Holotype, Amazonas, Brazil, MCN 18269). Total length 7.22. Carapace 3.81 long, 3.48 wide, dark yellow. Clypeus light yellow, 0.40 high. Anterior eye row procurved, 0.78 wide ( Fig. 17); posterior recurved, 1.40 wide. Eye diameters, interdistances, and median ocular quadrangle: AME 0.14, ALE 0.10, PME 0.16, PLE 0.18; AME-AME 0.14, AME-ALE 0.12, PME-PME 0.31, PME-PLE 0.30, OQA 0.44, OQP 0.66, OQH 0.46. Chelicerae light brown, laterally depressed, with lateral tufts of white bristles ( Fig. 17). Sternum white; 1.82 long, 1.90 wide. Labium light brown, darker laterally, 0.49 long, 0.58 wide. Legs light brown, unmarked; relative length: IV-I-II-III, I—femur 5.39/ patella-tibia 6.97/ metatarsus 4.06/ tarsus 1.90/ total 18.32; II—4.98/ 6.72/ 4.10/ 1.74/ 17.54; III—4.31/ 5.31/ 3.15/ 1.49/ 14.26; IV—5.44/ 6.80/ 4.56/ 2.07/ 18.87. Ventral pairs of macrosetae on tibiae: I-4; II-4; III-3; IV-3. Abdomen 3.56 long, yellow with two pairs of sigillae. Venter whitish, with scattered bristles. Palpus with a blunt apex of the median apophysis, prolaterally curved ( Figs 148, 149). Ental branch of RTA short and with a median excavation ( Figs 150, 151); ectal branch of RTA short and with a curved apex ( Fig. 151).
Female. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality ( Fig. 3).
