Stomis deuvei ssp. deuvei Marcilhac, 1993 View in CoL
Loc. typ.: Gansu, Xiahe , 3300 m .
Description. Habitus as in Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5–8 . The combination of characters allowing to distinguish this species are: length 6.9–7.2 mm; integuments metallic green, sometimes with a bronze hue, very smooth and shiny; body rather convex ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5–8 ); legs and antennae reddish, rather short and robust; head wide, with mandibles rather short, shorter than the rest of the head; pronotum anteriorly broad, then markedly constricted and sinuate towards the base; elytra rather narrow, oval, with striae rather shallow, gradually shallower towards the sides; shoulders angulose and with a very small tooth. Median lobe of aedeagus with apical portion longer than basal portion; in lateral view subsinuate before apex, in dorsal view markedly constricted at apex, almost pointed, and with a small tooth on the left side ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 32–36 ). Ratios: El/Pl = 2.24; Ew/Pw = 1.37; El/Ew = 1.48.
Distribution. This species had been described upon few specimens from Gansu (Holotype in Fig. 25 View FIGURES 25–28 ) and also my previous citation ( Sciaky 1998) was for this region only, while a distinct subspecies inhabits Shaanxi. It is therefore interesting to mention the capture of four specimens in two different localities of north Sichuan. These specimens do not significantly differ from the specimens collected in Gansu, in spite of the distance between the two areas.
