Steatocranus irvinei (Trewavas, 1943)

The karyotype of S. irvinei is composed of 2n = 42 chromosomes including 10 m /sm and 32 st/t (FN = 52) (Tab. I). The 18S rRNA genes are located on the short arms of a small acrocentric pair ( Fig. 2 ).
