Stems densely tomentose or lanate-tomentose. Leaves usually less than 2-3 times as long as wide, the lowest often rounded or subcordate at base. Verticillasters crowded, or the lower distant. Calyx-teeth with arista not more than 1 mm. C. Mediterranean region.
