Type locality. Greenland Sea.
Type material. Lectotype ( ZMB Q4746), Paralectotype ( ZMB 11168), Syntypes ( ZMB 4746), North Atlantic Ocean: Greenland Sea.
Records. Bermuda. Brazil: Rio Amazonas; French Guyana ( Hartman 1965).
Remarks. The record of this species from the Grand Caribbean is questionable. Its identity should be confirmed by comparing with type material.
