Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. xuanson sp. nov., but males can be distinguished by the terminal flat associated sclerite (vs. long, horn-shaped associated sclerite in S. xuanson ) and the blunt terminus of the embolus (vs. sharp in S. xuanson ), and females can be distinguished by the large, oval spermatheca (vs. very small spermatheca in S. xuanson ).
Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 28A View Figure 28 ). Total length 1.02; carapace length 0.50; carapace width 0.44; abdomen length 0.51; abdomen width 0.35. Carapace pyriform, narrowing gradually anteriorly; light yellow, suffused with purplish pattern; pars cephalica flat; fovea not visible. Sternum light yellow, suffused with purplish color, longer than wide. Endites light yellow, suffused with purplish tinge; with serrula; labium light yellow, suffused with purplish tinge. Clypeus nearly vertical, short. Chelicerae light yellow, anterolateral margin with a cluster of short setae, promargin with a series of six teeth reaching lamina; retromargin with two small denticles. Eyes: six contiguous eyes surrounded by black pigmentation, PME smallest, PLE largest. Abdomen oval; purplish. Legs light yellow. Leg measurements: I 1.78 (0.50, 0.66, 0.36, 0.26), II 1.58 (0.44, 0.52, 0.36, 0.26), III 1.34 (0.39, 0.44, 0.29, 0.22), IV 1.94 (0.58, 0.68, 0.43, 0.25).
Palp ( Fig. 24 View Figure 24 ). Palpal femur long, palpal tibia about as long as cymbium. Cymbium conical, without prolateral extension. Bulb spherical. Embolus short, nearly transparent, associated sclerite almost as long as embolus, terminus flat. Sperm duct initially medium size, gradually tapering distally.
Female (IZCAS-Ar43279, Fig. 28B View Figure 28 ). Total length 1.08; carapace length 0.52; carapace width 0.43; abdomen length 0.52; abdomen width 0.36. Similar to male in color and general features but larger. Chelicerae unmodified. Leg measurements: I 1.64 (0.47, 0.60, 0.32, 0.25), II 1.58 (0.43, 0.54, 0.32, 0.25), III 1.60 (0.46, 0.54, 0.38, 0.22), IV 1.84 (0.53, 0.62, 0.41, 0.28).
Genitalia ( Fig. 25 View Figure 25 ). Internal genitalia with accessory gland long, extending beyond sides of abdomen; spermatheca oval.
Material examined. Holotype ♂ (IZCAS-Ar43271), China, Guangdong, Guangzhou City, Yuexiu District , Yuexiu Park (23.1394°N, 113.2660°E, elev. 20 m), 20 September 2021, T. Jiang leg. Paratypes. 1♂ 7♀ (IZCAS-Ar43272–Ar43279), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
Etymology. The species is named after Mr. Tongyao Jiang, the collector of the holotype; noun (name) in genitive case.
