Solatopupa cianensis ( Caziot, 1910) View in CoL
Type locality: France, Alpes-Maritimes, Gorges du Cians, south of Beuil , right side of the river ; 1200 m altitude.
Distribution.— France, Gorges du Cians and Daluis, Alpes Maritimes.
Notes.—This species occurs solely on red porphyre rocks in two gorges in the Alpes-Maritimes. According to Ketmaier et al. (2006) it shows several plesiomorphic character states, but this is not convincingly substantiated.
