Remarks. No specimens of this species was examined, only a photograph of the type ( USNM, Fig. 7 ). Baker (1923) described the species based on an unspecified number of female specimens collected from “ Mindanao, Agusan Province , Butuan ”. S. carinata and S. tagalica have the pronotal median carina complete but differ in the proportions of the pronotum (see remarks under S. tagalica ). The former has a median carina on the crown which is absent in the latter.
