Generibus Radamaeae et Sieversandreas affinis , sed ab Radamaea foliis pinnatifidis , floribus campanulatis tubo valde breviore, staminibus clavato-pubescentis, thecis extus pilosis et capsula dehiscenti valde differt . Ab Sieversandreas differt inflorescentia cymosa, calyce non-accresenti, corolla lobis subaequalibus palate deficiente et thecis aequalibus pilosis.

Type species:─ Bardotia ankaranensis Eb.Fisch., Schäferh. & Kai Müll.
