Distribution. Guinea, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Angola, CAR ( Ragge & Roy 1967; Roy 1963, 1964b, 1965a, 1968a, 1973b, 1975, 1996, 2018; Roy & Leston 1975).

Remarks. A rainforest species, also distributed in the forested parts of the Guinea savanna. Cited as S. gratiosa Rehn, 1912 in papers prior to Roy (1975).
